Throughout this journey, various people have been kind enough to extend a helping hand. I am blessed to get to know these people and I’m pretty sure that you’ll have similar people in your life too.
Instead of waiting till Thanksgiving every year, I want to dedicate a column to them and thank them for everything they’ve done for me, whether that was yesterday, last year, or a decade ago.
In alphabetical order, they are:
Andrew Jones, a Career Coach who I refer to as my mentor. He was the key figure to my first social media consulting experience with an information hub for global professionals.
Dennis Yu, an author at InsideFacebook, AllFacebook, SocialFresh, and TechCrunch. He has been selfless in sharing his knowledge and connecting people. I am proud to have a generous friend like this and till this day, he continues to help me out when he can.
Emeric, Founder and CEO at Agorapulse. I am thankful for his belief in me and we enjoy working together even till this day. I also use Agorapulse for work and there are some features I love using so much that I wrote all about it here (non-affiliated).
Liz Azyan, who I had the pleasure to meet during my winter break 2014. We became business partners and work together on a few client projects. I can’t wait to see what we achieve in the rest of 2015.
Mari Smith, Forbes Top Social Media Power Influencer & Facebook Marketing Expert. She shared my articles on several occasions with her huge audience. Those in the social media field will know of Mari Smith. She’s perhaps the most influential personality in this niche and it’s been a pleasure to receive her recognition. Not only does she help the less known personalities in social media, but she also consistently provides great quality content to her fans and followers.
Ravi Shukle, a popular social media consultant. At one point, Ravi handled all of Samsung mobile’s social media strategy in Europe by himself. I was really happy to meet him when I visited London in 2014 and I hope that his private venture takes off with flying colors. If you take a keen interest in turning customers into engaged communities, make sure to follow his weekly podcasts here.
